Day 4 | 30 Days Raw Food Diet
Today is my 4th day on Doug Graham’s 80/10/10 diet. I was checking my protein levels and they were a bit low, so I picked up a bag of ‘raw’ cashews. I realize that nuts available in the US are not really raw, as they are flash pasteurized to around 120*, but it’s close. I don’t think there’s any way to find some that aren’t. Anyhow, I think I found the solution to my 3-day headache.Watch the video to see how I solve the headache problem, and what a case of bananas looks like!

Headaches are from you starting a raw food diet. When I start a raw food diet I get headaches and a slight sore throat. Goes away in about a week. Hang in there. Then it’s feeling awesome for there on forward.
Try this – 1 banana, 1tsp peanut butter, dash of cinnamon, 1/4C oatmeal, and 1/2 – 3/4C nut milk – It is soooo yummy!
Today, I am craving mango sushi. Found a great recipe for spicy mango-avocado sushi – mmm…. can’t wait to try. ;)

About the oatmeal and cinnamon, I’m shooting for the 80/10/10 approach, which does not include grains or spices. I have nuts occasionally, but try to keep my fat percentage down.

No Grains for spices? Oy Ye Vay! But some of those spices are so good for your system. I couldn’t imagine… ;) Best of luck to you.
